As I reflect today, personally and professionally, I now, more than ever, understand what John Lennon was telling us when he said “Life is what happens when you’re making other plans.” The first time I saw that message was in my childhood home, on my parents’ refrigerator door.
I learned a lot from my parents, but nothing as important as what I witnessed in hard work and perseverance. As one of seven children raised in a typical middle-class family during the ’60s and ’70s, that’s pretty much what life entailed. You want something? You work for it.
Having been a member of such a dynamic family and being fortunate enough to enjoy a high school and collegiate career in sports, I understand the importance of commitment to teamwork, camaraderie, and responsibility in achieving goals and fulfilling the dreams of others. I began my career as a financial advisor upon my graduation from John Carroll University and have never looked back—coupling my interest in finance with the fact that I could genuinely help people and have an impact on their financial future continues to resonate with me now 31 years later.
Ours is an ever-changing, intriguing profession that demands these very traits. Working alongside my valued clients has allowed me a very rewarding career that continues to develop with exceptional service and open lines of communication. Financial well being involves partnership. At Bridgeview Wealth Partners, our focus is clear: using our experience to prepare you for and guide you when “life happens.”

Throughout my life, I’ve always had a love for traveling. The chance to meet new people from different cultures, different backgrounds, and different perceptions of life has always been inspirational. This is why I love what I do so much. Every day I get to meet with families and learn about their lives and what they want to accomplish. From there, I can help put together a plan to achieve those goals, whether it’s saving for college, buying a house, saving for retirement, etc.
After graduating from Bowling Green State University, I moved to Tacoma, Washington, and dipped my toes in the business world while earning my MBA. It took a couple of years, but I realized I needed to get back to Cleveland. Instead of going back to my hometown, Mayfield, I crossed that invisible East/West I-77 border to Lakewood. This new location also came with a new job as a financial advisor. Seven years later, the new location became a home and this new job became a passion.
